Railroad Museum

A true place of knowledge, this museum will allow you to discover the railway techniques of yesteryear and the history of this station. In a playful and interactive space, you will meet Marcel and his coal pile and discover the steam locomotive as if you were there! A moment of conviviality and initiation to the discovery of the history of railway workers.

Station Cafe

The visit doesn’t end there! An ideal bucolic place to relax after your visit, the station café will allow you to quench your thirst within a preserved architecture. Inside or on the terrace in the sun, laughter and good humor will be the order of the day! A break out of time to extend your trip…

Travel in nature

Are you looking for anoriginal bike ride idea? Médréac station also offers you to ride on an old railway (la Brohinière / Dinan / Dinard): you will board rail bikes or pedal drags and go to discover beautiful landscapes of Broceliande.

The most athletic among you will be able to try it and discover a bocage and hilly landscape, without forgetting the beautiful domanial forest of Montauban-de-Bretagne or the pretty Chapelle de Lannelou !

In these splendid landscapes, you will discover the magical nature of Broceliande while traveling back in time!

2 routes are proposed:

• Small route of 6km (1 hour ride) with departures at 10am, 11am, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm. Rates: 29€ per bike-rail (5 people maximum).
• Large 14km ride (2 hour ride) with departures at 10am, 2pm and 4pm or departures at 10am with picnic break for a return at 2pm. Rates: 39€ per bike-rail (5 people maximum).

The practice of velo-rail requires a good physical condition. It is a sport discovery activity that is practiced at least in pairs. Activity prohibited to less than 18 months.
