30 minutes from Rennes and 20 minutes from the forest of Broceliande, the “Petite Cité de Caractère” of Montfort-sur-Meu is a city developed for tourism, which keeps the traces of its medieval past and its fortified city. It is also known for having seen the birth of Louis-Marie Grignion in 1673, a famous missionary whose memory is kept alive in the house bearing his name in rue de la Saulnerie: a place to be visited and to be visited as well as its surroundings.
