La Perche Montfortaise

The fishing area of La Perche Montfortaise includes the Meu (from the Travan mill on the road to Iffendic to the Guern mill in Talensac) and its tributary the Garun (from the bridge in the village of La Nouaye to Montfort sur Meu). There are two night fishing routes for carp along the Meu at Montfort and Talensac.

Fishing cards are on sale in Montfort-sur-Meu at the bar Le Rallye, at Galop'1 place de la Cohue, at Super U, at the garden centre Les Amis Verts as well as at the PMU bar La Tulipe in Pleumeleuc and at the tourist office at Lac de Trémelin in Iffendic. They can also be purchased on the internet at www.cartedepeche.fr.
The piscicultural land of La Perche Montfortaise includes the Meu river (from the bridge of the D263 in Iffendic to the Guern mill in Talensac) and its tributary the Garun river (from the bridge of the burg to La Nouaye). The association organises days to clean the Meu, contests, and carp circuits by night along the Meu river. Fishing cards are on sale in Montfort-sur-Meu at the bar Le Rallye, at the tobacco press David, at the Espace Emeraude and at the Super U, but also in Talensac at the library tobacconists press and in Breteil at the bar tobacconists press Le Kevesnel.
