Exhibitions

  • Etangs of Art
    Like every year, Ponds of Art returns to Lac au Duc with new artists. The two works on the water are created by artists Fiona Paterson and Jerome Leyre.

  • Natural Reveries
    “Adeline Spengler extends the poet’s emotion and opens wide her window on a living nature composed of beauties chosen among flowers, trees and, of course, water source of life.”

  • The animals of the Arctic regions
    The Morbihan wildlife photographer, Jean-Marie Seveno, has traveled several times to the Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic. From these trips was born this magnificent exhibition where the polar bear holds an important place. He wishes through the image to discover the biodiversity of these distant lands but also to show the consequences of global warming in the poles, very affected areas where the impact on animals is direct and problematic.

Nature outings

To discover the fauna and flora of the Lac au Duc in a playful way, the CPIE de Brocéliande and the Empreinte association have concocted a beautiful program of nature walks for the summer.

  • Family treasure hunt.
    Come and discover the riches of a small corner of greenery very close to Ploërmel. Stories, games, scientific activities and discoveries will be on the program of this afternoon along the water.

  • Busy walk
    Come and discover the hidden treasures of the banks of the Yvel. The empreinte association offers you an immersion in the heart of nature at the gates of Ploërmel. A naturalist and an environmental educator accompany you to discover biodiversity through naturalist observation, storytelling and bushcraft games and toys.

  • Discovery of nightlife
    The Empreinte association offers an immersion in the sound world of night animals. hold your ear, listen and let yourself be guided by a naturalist and an environmental educator to discover bats, owls and frogs around Lac au Duc.

  • Naturalist hike around the lake
    Come and discover the hidden life around Lac au Duc and its surprising history. Follow us on a 14km loop (about a 4 hour walk) around the lake, interspersed with breaks to observe, smell and listen to nature.

An exceptional natural area, the Lac au Duc site and also an ideal place to spend a day in the fresh air and enjoy the many facilities and activities at your disposal.

    A sports leader is at your disposal for various activities: orienteering, tennis, ultimate, petanque…

    The nautical club has a wide range of boats for rent to learn or improve in a large format: towed buoy, water skiing, catamaran, kayak, paddle, pedal boat …
