Musée des carrières

Little by little, Robert Coudray built up his museum, with the aim of passing on his knowledge... The result was a collection of unsuspected wealth: stones, machines, models, tools, all designed to promote the industrial heritage associated with quarrying! This museum is the realization of a dream, a bridge between past and present. Today, Catherine, the daughter, shares this history with passion, and with anecdotes each more astonishing than the last. How can a truck accident save someone? Why do we see driverless carts in Lizio? Open all month from July 30 to August 31, 2pm to 6pm (closed Mondays and Saturdays). Guided tours subject to guide availability. September and October: open to groups, by prior arrangement.
