Musée des carrières

Little by little, Robert Coudray built up his museum, he wanted to pass it on... Collections of an unsuspected richness were then born, stones, machines, models, tools with the aim of promoting the industrial heritage linked to the quarries! This museum is the realisation of a dream which is a bridge between the past and the present. Catherine, the daughter, is now showing this history with passion and anecdotes, each one more surprising than the next. How can a truck accident save someone? Why do we see carts without drivers in Lizio? Open throughout August from 2pm to 6pm (closed on Mondays and Saturdays). Guided tours on reservation according to the availability of the guide. Open to groups, without timetable, all year round by reservation.
